The normalization of a cashless society has begun with the coin shortage in the states.
We all know that society would eventually become cashless (Rev 13 has a prophecy implying this point). But we did not know the exact pretext for it. But we are now learning.
I am not going to comment on the theories behind the current coin shortage. But I do want to make a couple of other related observations.
Because of the current global factors, I think a lot of pretribulationists are rethinking the view they were taught that they would be raptured out of here before all the bad stuff happens, including the arrival of the Antichrist. In fact, I know for a fact that this is the case via email correspondance with ex-pretribbers on a weekly basis.
On the other hand, I have noticed recently that pretrib teachers are doubling down on their phantom, pretribulation doctrine and “reassuring” their trepidatious followers that they will be raptured soon and will not have to face the persecution from the coming Antichrist.
In addition, amillennialists are oblivious to any prospective biblical prophecy reality as they believe—along with pretribulationists!—that there is no need for any prophetic events to take place before Jesus returns. We are told by amillennialists that the mark of the beast and his image are only symbolic and Revelation 13 does not really mean what it says.
Be a prophetic voice in your church on these matters, taking heed to our Lord’s ominous warning: “Behold, I have told you in advance” (Matt 24:25).
