No Recourse for Christians During the Great Tribulation

What will Christians do when the courts, laws, and protections they have relied on are no longer available? The Bible teaches that the final generation of the church will encounter the Antichrist’s persecution before the Day of the Lord’s wrath. For many American Christians, this will be especially difficult to grasp because we have grown up in a society where wrongs can often be challenged, appealed, or rectified through legal and civil systems.

But during the Great Tribulation, Christians will not have that kind of protection. There will be no friendly court system to defend believers. No government recourse. No earthly appeal. The Antichrist’s system will bring suffering, injustice, betrayal, persecution, and even martyrdom upon the faithful people of God.

Jesus said the Great Tribulation would be a time of suffering unequaled from the beginning of the world. This is not God’s eschatological wrath being poured out on the wicked; rather, it is the Antichrist’s persecution against believers. Christians must prepare their minds, hearts, and souls for difficult days, not only for themselves but also for their families, children, and loved ones.

While believers may have no earthly recourse during the Great Tribulation, they will have the ultimate recourse in Christ. Revelation shows that the martyred saints cry out to God, asking when He will avenge their blood. Heaven’s answer is clear: God’s wrath is coming.

The wicked may persecute the saints for a short time, but God will judge the persecutors through His eschatological wrath, the trumpet judgments, the bowl judgments, and ultimately the lake of fire. For faithful believers, however, the end is not defeat. It is resurrection, vindication, reward, and co-reigning with Christ.

This video is a call for Christians to remain faithful to Christ no matter the cost. Taking the mark of the beast and worshiping the image may preserve one’s life temporarily, but only for a short time. Faithfulness to Christ, even unto death, brings eternal victory.
